Four locations showed a decrease: Rio Grande do Sul (-3.4 percent), Santa Catarina (-1.4 percent), Espírito Santo (-1.4 percent) and Bahia (-0.1 percent).

Drop

In relation to August 2018, eight locations recorded a drop, most notably the 16.2 percent drop in Espírito Santo, while seven showed an increase: 13 percent in Pará and 12.8 percent in Amazonas.

In the year to date, nine locations declined, the largest of which was in Espírito Santo (-12.8 percent). Out of the six locations showing an increase, the best result was noted in Paraná (6.5 percent).

In the 12-month accumulated period, ten locations showed a decline, the most pronounced in Espírito Santo (-7.2 percent). Of the five places showing an increase, the greatest improvement occurred in Rio Grande do Sul (6.6 percent).
