RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The city of Itajaí in Santa Catarina State, close to Florianopolis, is home to three shipyards with the best boats in the country.
In addition to acknowledging the quality of the local workforce, the Bombarco award also reinforces the city's title of "Santa Catarina's Capital of Naval Construction and Nautical Tourism".
