Brazil’s machinery and equipment sector grows 18% in February

The first two months of 2021 saw an increase of 27.4% compared to 2020.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - With revenues of R$13.8 billion, the machinery and equipment sector posted growth of 18% in February compared to the same month in 2020, according to the balance released yesterday March 31st, by the Brazilian Association of Machinery and Equipment (ABIMAQ).

In the first two months of 2021, the increase was 27.4% compared to the first two months of last year.
