Brazil’s soy exports set record in March and will total 82 million tons in the year – ANEC

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil's soybean exports totaled 14.9 million tons in March, against 13.3 million in the same period last year, data from the National Association of Cereal Exporters (ANEC) showed Wednesday, marking a new monthly record for shipments of the oilseed.

In April, soybean foreign sales are projected between 14 million and 16.3 million tons, ANEC added in a weekly bulletin, signaling potential for a new historic mark later this month.

However, the association pointed out that the estimate is based on ship schedules and therefore "considers the possibility of lower shipments of cargoes . . .
