Brazil’s unvaccinated Bolsonaro tests negative for Covid after New York exposure, presidency source says

Vaccinated Health Minister Marcelo Queiroga was infected with the virus and had to stay in a hotel in New York.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The president had been isolated at the Alvorada Palace since last Wednesday (22) when he returned to the country from a trip to New York to attend the UN General Assembly.

Although unvaccinated President Jair Bolsonaro was surrounded by people with new infections during that trip, he tested negative for Covid-19, a source at the presidential palace told Valor.
