RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Road transport ride hosting platform BlaBlaCar intends to triple its user base in Brazil by 2022, said the European company on Monday, pointing out that it has reached the five million users mark in the country this month.
The startup, which is present in 22 countries, saw its user base in Brazil grow 315 percent since the beginning of 2018, cementing the country as the company's third-largest market, as announced in a press release. Worldwide, the company claims to have a total of 80 million users.
