Brazilian Air Force Receives the First of 36 Gripen Fighters Purchased

Although it is already owned by the Brazilian Air Force, the F-39 Gripen should only arrive in Brazil in 2021, since the equipment testing program only began in Sweden yesterday. If approved, from 2021 part of the remaining aircraft will be completely assembled in Brazil.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Swedish company Saab delivered the first of the 36 Gripen fighters purchased by the Brazilian government in 2014 to the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) to re-equip the Air Force's fleet.
