Brazilian Spending Abroad Rebounds in June, Compared with Last Year

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - After dropping significantly in May, Brazilian spending abroad increased again in June and totaled US$1.524 billion (R$6.096 billion). The figure represents a 2.5 percent increase in comparison to what was spent on travel abroad in the same month last year, the Central Bank reported on Thursday, July 25th. In June 2018, Brazilian spending abroad totaled US$1.487 billion.
