Chinese Investors Plan R$9.1 Billion Mining Mega-Project in Minas Gerais State

Called Block 8, the project includes a 480-kilometer pipeline that will run from the mining city of Grão Mogol to Ilhéus (Bahia State), passing through 21 municipalities. The expectations in Minas Gerais are that 1.2 thousand direct jobs and revenues of R$4 billion per year will be generated, for which mining royalties will be paid.
