Industrial confidence in Brazil in July reaches highest level since January

Industrial confidence rises for the third consecutive month, but with a slowdown in business optimism about the coming months.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazilian industrial confidence registered a slight increase in July, reaching its highest level since the beginning of the year after a third consecutive increase, the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) announced Wednesday (28).

The data showed that the Industrial Confidence Index (ICI) increased by 0.8 points to 108.4 points in July, reaching the highest level since January (111.3 points).
