RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Industrial production retreated in eight of the fifteen locations surveyed by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), in the transition from April to May of this year, following a 0.2 percent drop in domestic industry during the period.
According to the Monthly Industrial Research, released yesterday, July 12th, the highest decrease (-2.2 percent) was observed in Espírito Santo.
