RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Starting this month, Mercado Livre will start new hires in Latin America to fill 5,000 jobs.
On Tuesday, June 2nd, the Argentine e-commerce company announced its hiring plan for the second half of 2020. And Brazil will have the largest number of job openings, with 45 percent of the share.
Mexico and Argentina will each have 25 percent; Colombia and Uruguay will also have new positions by December.
The company will mainly seek Information Technology specialists, expecting to hire over 400 people with qualifications in the area for several of its branches.
