RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - With the continued drop in oil prices in the international market, Petrobras (PETR3; PETR4) announced to distributors on Tuesday, April 14th, that it will reduce the price of gasoline in the domestic market by eight percent, representing less R$0.0860, while diesel will drop by six percent, less R$0.0960, as of April 15th, sources said.
The marine diesel (bunker) will have a reduction of 6.2 percent, and the drop in fuel for thermal plants will be 6.1 percent (S500) and 6.3 percent (S10).
