Vehicle Sales in Brazil Rise Twelve Percent in First Half of 2019

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Sales of cars, light commercial vehicles (pickups and vans), trucks and buses rose 12 percent in the first half of this year, against the same period in 2018, reported the Brazilian federation of dealers (Fenabrave) on Tuesday, July 2nd.

There were 1.3 million new license plates registered between January and June, against 1.16 million a year ago.

The organization revised the sales projection for the year. Now, it expects a lower rate than it estimated at the beginning of the year. For Fenabrave, the number of new plate registrations will be 8.37 percent . . .
