In December, there was an improvement in confidence in all sectors that make up the Business Confidence Index. Industry confidence rose 3.2 points in the month and closed the year up an average of 1.5 points in the fourth quarter over the previous quarter.

Construction confidence, which has been increasing since the end of the second quarter of 2019 (with the exception of September), reached 92.3 points in December, its highest level since June 2014 (92.9 points).
