Businessman accused of shipping cocaine to Europe in military planes is arrested in Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazilian authorities announced Monday (18) the arrest of businessman Marcos Daniel Gama, known as 'Chico Bomba', for his alleged involvement in the shipment of cocaine in military planes to several European countries, including Spain.

The Federal Police have highlighted that Gama has been arrested in Brasilia as part of the 'Fifth Column' operation, which investigates a drug shipment scheme to Europe while stating that the suspect is considered "one of the leaders and financier of the criminal scheme".

According to investigations, Gama was the owner of part of the load of 37 kilograms of cocaine found . . .
