RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – The most active of President Jair Bolsonaro’s sons on social media saw his own personal accounts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram inactive.
Whether he deleted them himself or whether the profiles were suspended is still unclear. According to a source from O Globo, the city councilor is “angry about a lot that has been going on and will stay away from social media for at least a month”.
Last weekend, Carlos was mocked after publishing memes comparing President Bolsonaro to the villain Thanos in the film “Avengers: Endgame”.
The posts were made following a story suggesting that his father had been involved in the downfall of Evo Morales in Bolivia. However, in the film, Thanos is defeated by women, youths and blacks. The villain also dies in the end after suffering a fatal blow from Iron Man, who is portrayed wearing red.
