RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Year-to-date through August, coffee exports from Brazil to Arab countries were up 45.9 percent year-on-year.
The first eight months of the year saw 1.14 million 60-Kg bags shipped to the Arab bloc, the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council ( Cecafé ) reported this Tuesday, September 10th.
The share of Brazilian coffee exports taken in by Arab countries is now 4.2 percent. Year-to-date through August, exports fetched USD 134 million, up 14.3 percent, with average price per bag increasing by 14.3 percent year-on-year.
