RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – In an interview with GloboNews on Wednesday evening, February 5th, Chamber President Rodrigo Maia spoke about the Presidential race in 2022.
When asked by journalists which names he considers have shown support for building a centrist political alliance, without necessarily endorsing them prior to the race two years from now, he commented that the governor of São Paulo, João Doria, television host Luciano Huck and the former governor of Ceará, Ciro Gomes, “must have the courage to start talking about 2022”.
Otherwise, the dispute will be decided between Jair Bolsonaro “and Lula’s candidate,” Maia added.
