Embraer delivers 34 aircraft in Q2; order backlog reaches US$15.9 billion

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil's Embraer, the third-largest aircraft manufacturer in the world, announced Wednesday (21) that it delivered 34 aircraft in the second quarter of 2121, up from 22 in the first three months of the year and 17 a year earlier.

Backlog was up 12 percent from the first quarter at US$15.9 billion, and the Brazilian manufacturer said the backlog returned to pre-pandemic levels.

The deliveries were 20 executive aircraft, including 11 Phenom 300 and five Praetor 600 models. In commercial aviation, there were 14 deliveries, seven E175 and seven E195-E2 jets . . .
