GM to produce new pickup truck in Brazil

The company said the new pickup truck will be produced at the company's plant in São Caetano do Sul and is part of a R$10 (US$1.9) billion investment cycle to renew its portfolio and develop new technologies in the country.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - General Motors announced on Monday, May 9th, that it will produce a new pickup truck model in Brazil to complement the line currently comprising the compact Montana and the large-size S10.

The company said the new pickup truck will be produced at the company's plant in São Caetano do Sul (SP) and is part of a R$10 (US$1.9) billion investment cycle to renew its portfolio and develop new technologies in the country.
