Homicide and Eight Other Violent Crimes in Brazil Drop in First Half-year

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The number of homicides dropped by 22 percent nationwide during the first semester of this year, compared to the same period in 2018.

The information was released yesterday, October 14th, in Brasília, by the Ministry of Justice and Public Safety, based on data from the National Public Security, Prison, Weapons and Ammunition Traceability, Genetic Material, Digital and Drug Information System (SINESP).
