In difficult 2020, Brazilians bought significantly more food and wine from Chile

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Chilean wine and food exports to Brazil grew even in the difficult year 2020. This is what the report from ProChile, an institution linked to the Chilean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, pointed out. In the case of wines, the increase in revenue was 24%, to US$185 million.

According to the report, Chilean hazelnut sales to Brazil jumped from US$1.32 million in 2019 to US$10.43 million last year, representing a 690% increase. "Chilean exports of this product have increased in recent years (...), considering the quality and proximity to reach the local market . . .
