Iron Maiden Vocalist Bruce Dickinson Stirs up Campus Party in Brasília

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Attentive eyes followed Iron Maiden vocalist Bruce Dickinson’s lecture, at Campus Party Brasília this Saturday, June 22nd. During the event, the singer drew applause from the audience when announcing that he will bring a different flavor of the band’s beer to Brazil, The Trooper. “We will bring a special product, only for Brazil,” he revealed.

The singer took to the stage to speak not only about rock but mainly about entrepreneurship and innovation. Bruce was a pilot and marketing director at Astraeus Airlines, an aircraft rental company.

Bruce’s multiple activities drew the attention of systems engineering student Bernardo Cordeiro, 24, who came from Montes Claros (State of Minas Gerais) to attend the Campus Party Brasília. “He spoke about the reason he liked music and why he did other things in addition to it. He doesn’t limit himself to one area. His life was made, but he still wanted to do what he likes,” he said.

A business manager and fan, Stenio Diniz, 49, believes Bruce offered essential tips. “He said that if you want something, go get it. At a certain point in his career, the singer left the band and traveled to see the world,” he commented.

The third edition of Campus Party Brasília began on Wednesday, June 19th, and has attracted technology and nerd culture lovers. The organization expects to host a floating audience of 70,000 people by the end of the event, on Sunday, June 23rd.
