Lava Jato Recovers More than R$4 Billion; Petrobras Gets Largest Share

After more than five years of Lava Jato in Curitiba, the amount recovered through plea bargaining, leniency agreements, conduct adjustment agreements (TAC), including voluntary payments by defendants, now totals R$ 4.069.514.758,69.,

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - According to the Federal Prosecutor's Office, this amount was reached in October, with the beginning of the investment of R$220 million (US$55 million) by Ecorodovias to subsidize the 30 percent reduction in the company's toll posts tariff.

The more than R$4 billion returned are divided into R$570 million to subsidize the reduction of tolls in Paraná managed by two concessionaires, of which R$220 million by Ecorodovias and R$350 million by Rodonorte.
