RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The Ministry of Health released on Monday, April 20th, the most recent balance of coronavirus cases in Brazil. The main data are:
- 2,575 deaths - on Sunday, there were 2,462, an increase of 5.6 percent and 113 more deaths;
- 40,581 confirmed cases - on Sunday, it was 38,654, an increase of five percent;
- The mortality rate stands at 6.3 percent.
In seven days there were 1,043 more deaths (68 percent increase). São Paulo records 1,037 deaths and 14,580 confirmed cases . . .
