Covid-19 Variants: Angola Imposes Tests on Travelers From S. Africa, Brazil, Portugal

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Angola has imposed fresh restrictions on air travel passengers to prevent the importation of the coronavirus variants. On Wednesday, the southern African nation recorded 82 confirmed cases.

Travelers from Brazil and Portugal will have to provide a negative test of the virus before being allowed entry into the country.

This new measure is in response to reports of the virus variants in the aforementioned nations.
