According to INFRAERO, the estimate is 3.78 percent higher than last season, when 5.19 million people traveled through airport terminals.

The largest flow of people should be focused between 16 and 20 December. In relation to the aircraft traffic, 42,200 landings and take-offs are expected.

To ensure the operation of all airport infrastructure at this time of year, INFRAERO will establish monitoring of its 47 airports. The goal is to ensure the comfort and safety of passengers on days of greater traffic at Brazilian airports.

One of the measures adopted by INFRAERO is the availability of the “yellows”, employees with yellow vests prepared to serve and guide passengers in connection with boardings and deboardings. According to the company, these employees will be on standby both in airports with high flows and those with low passenger flow.
