RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The National Public Safety Force will support the National Indian Foundation (FUNAI) in its actions to ensure the physical and moral integrity of indigenous peoples and FUNAI employees, in the Vale do Javari Indigenous Land, in the state of Amazonas, according to a decree published in this Wednesday's edition of the Federal Gazette.
The military will remain in the region for 180 days as of Friday, December 6th . . .
