Netflix increases subscription prices in Brazil

The increase applies to new subscriptions and to those who are already subscribers. The last adjustment in subscription prices happened in March 2019.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Netflix announced on Thursday, 22 that subscription prices for streaming services will increase. The increases applied range from 18.3% to 21.8%.

In a statement, the company justifies the adjustment with the promise to offer the best experience for the subscriber, with the best original content and a wide variety of genres.

Basic (single screen, no HD): from R$21.90 to R$25.90;

Standard (two simultaneous screens and HD content): from R$32.90 to R$39.90;

Premium (four simultaneous screens and Ultra HD): from R$45.90 . . .
