NotreDame and EDP Brasil sign agreement to build 4 solar power plants

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Grupo NotreDame Intermédica (GNDI3) has just signed a 10-year contract with EDP Brasil (ENBR3) for the implementation of 4 solar power plants with approximately 4.4 MWp of installed power.

With a R$20 (US$3.9) million investment, the plants to be built through EDP Smart, will supply 60 of NotreDame's medical centers. The undertakings are expected to generate around 8,350 MWh per year, equivalent to the consumption of 2,784 homes.

The plants will also lead to a cut in costs for NotreDame, which expects to save R$1.2 . . .
