Brazil’s Aid to Lebanon Includes 300 Ventilators, 100,000 Masks, Medicine for Three Months

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The humanitarian aid that the Bolsonaro government will ship to Lebanon this week, through the Ministry of Health, will include 300 mechanical lung ventilators, 100,000 surgical masks, and medicines for three months. The information is from CNN Brasil.

According to the Health Ministry, the ventilators were acquired by Brazil especially to be donated to Lebanon, without prejudice to those used to treat Brazilian patients with the novel coronavirus (Covid-19).

The government will also deploy 16 volunteer doctors, including orthopedists and anesthesiologists, to assist victims wounded by the explosion in Beirut last week.
