By · September 9, 2019 · 1 min read

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Frenchwoman Marie-Laure Solanet, former longtime resident of Brazil and an informal ambassadress in Paris and Washington D.C., is calling for a demonstration by women against Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro and Brazilian Economy Minister Paulo Guedes, who called France’s first lady Brigitte Macron ugly.

Guedes caused controversy by giving “the green light” to statements by Bolsonaro, who called France’s first lady, Brigitte Macron, ugly.

“It’s all true. President Jair Bolsonaro really spoke, and it is true, the woman is ugly indeed,” he said in a lecture held in Fortaleza (Ceará) on Thursday, September 5th.

The information was published on Ancelmo Gois’ column for Globo news.
