Twenty Governors Criticize Bolsonaro for Failing to Contribute to ‘Progress of Democracy’

Governors rejected the President's recent statements on the investigations into the murder of Marielle Franco and his 'challenge' to Governors to abandon the state-imposed ICMS tax on fuels.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - After the recent attacks by President Jair Bolsonaro, twenty governors signed an open letter criticizing him for statements that "do not contribute to the progress of democracy in Brazil".
