Unmasked, Bolsonaro Rides Motorcycle and Chats with Street Sweepers

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Infected with the novel coronavirus, President Jair Bolsonaro rode his motorcycle on Thursday, July 23rd, outside the Alvorada Palace.

At the time, the chief executive was unmasked, and even chatted without the protection with staff who were cleaning the gardens of the Presidency's official residence.

The wearing of protective masks is recommended by health authorities to prevent the spread of Covid-19, a disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

Bolsonaro has been infected for 16 days, since testing positive on July 7th.
