“Praia do Futuro” Beach in Ceará Unsuitable for Swimming Because of Oil Slicks

The State Superintendence of the Environment (SEMACE) released a bulletin to alert on the risks to bathers who frequent the coast of Ceará State. During the weekly collection of seawater samples to identify the beach's bathing suitability, SEMACE technicians sighted oil flocks in the east zone of the Fortaleza waterfront.
