Protests in Brazil: Bolsonaro supporters in São Paulo demonstrate with signs in English

Demonstrators asked for international help in an act on Avenida Paulista. Supporters wait for the president's speech, scheduled for 3 PM.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - In the pro-Bolsonaro protest that took over Sâo Paulo's emblematic Avenida Paulista on Tuesday, September 7, many supporters invested in posters with messages in English. It was also possible to find messages in Italian, Spanish, and other languages.

The lawyer Luiz Antonio dos Santos chose a message against the Supreme Court STF, one of the central themes of the demonstration, by criticizing the so-called "dictatorship of the toga".
