July Real Estate Sales in Brazil Up 58 Percent over 2019, Best Monthly Result Since 2014

A survey shows an increase on the commercialization of units, resumption of launches, and positive performance of the 'Casa Verde e Amarela' federal low cost housing program.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The monthly balance of the Brazilian Association of Real Estate Developers (ABRAINC), prepared by the Institute of Economic Research Foundation (FIPE), shows an increase of 58 percent in sales of new housing units in July compared to the same month in 2019. In all, 13,023 units were sold in the period, representing the best monthly result for the indicator since May 2014.
