Returning to Church Highest Priority for Brazilians After Quarantine, Says Survey

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Churches are the first place that Brazilians would like to return to after the end of the social isolation measures, due to the pandemic of the novel coronavirus.

The survey was conducted by the research institute Ideia Big Data, which interviewed 1,667 Brazilians aged 18 and over between April 21st and 22nd via a mobile app. The error margin is four percentage points plus or minus.

One in three Brazilians intends to attend church the same week religious services are restarted. Another 14 percent would return to the temples within 15 days and 22 percent . . .
