Rock Slide Kills two Brazilian Children in Chile

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - A rock slide killed two Brazilian girls in Chile, police there reported on Monday, June 3rd. Khálida Trabulsi Lisboa and Isadora Bringel, three and seven years old, respectively, died after being struck by rock debris, which came loose from one of the mountains near the El Yeso dam, a tourist spot in the Andes mountains near the metropolitan area of Santiago.

The identities of the two girls from Maranhão were confirmed to the G1 news station by the Chilean police and by the wife of Khálida's grandfather.
