Carlos Slim Group Announces Three Year Investment Plan of R$30 Billion for Brazil

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Mexican entrepreneur Carlos Slim Domit, son of Carlos Slim, the owner of América Movil and one of the richest businessmen in the world, has submitted to President Jair Bolsonaro a plan to invest the equivalent of R$30 billion (US$7.5 billion) over the next three years in Brazil.

On leaving the meeting, held on Wednesday afternoon at the Planalto Palace, Domit said that it had been a courtesy visit and that the contribution of resources will be made primarily to expand the infrastructure required for the development of new services and also cloud . . .
