Services suspended due to attacks
Manaus was the stage for a series of violent attacks between early Sunday morning, June 6, and Tuesday morning June 8. At least 35 people were arrested. In addition to the state capital, six other inland cities also registered attacks.
On Tuesday, however, after two days of suspended services, public transportation in the city resumed full operation. Vaccination for adults aged 53 and older was also resumed.
