Vaccination progress in Brazil brings positive outlook for tourism – association

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The progress in vaccination in Brazil began to bring optimism to the domestic tourism market, pointed out a study by the Brazilian Association of Tourism Businesses (BRAZTOA), released Wednesday.

The better scenario comes mainly because of greater consumer interest to acquire or plan trips. The tourism business environment is expected to improve in the second half of 2021.

According to BRAZTOA, the results make the industry optimistic, even if sales still fall short of what was practiced before the pandemic, on average only 25% of what it was.
