Vehicle Production in Brazil in January Falls Compared to December, Says ANFAVEA

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Vehicle production in Brazil in January retreated 4,6% against to December, but registered 4,2% growth when compared to the same month last year, according to data disclosed this Thursday, February 4th by the automakers association (ANFAVEA).

The total output volume reached 199,700 cars, light commercials, trucks and buses, reported the association. Sales fell 29,8% on the monthly comparison and 11,5% on the yearly, to 171,100 vehicles.

Exports totaled 25,000 units, a drop of around 35% over December, but a growth of approximately 22% over January 2020 . . .
