RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Workers' Party (PT) President Gleisi Hoffmann posted on her Twitter that protests "for democracy and the rights of the people" will be promoted as a way to counter what she classified as "an authoritarian escalation of the Bolsonaro government".
Scheduled for March 8th, 14th and 18th, the protests against the government are expected to contest the March 15th demonstration called by Bolsonarists in defense of the government and to criticize the National Congress.
According to Gleisi, the protests against the current administration "will be an opportunity to express dissatisfaction".
