RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - On Thursday, May 21st, Mark Zuckerberg said that Facebook was removing false information on the coronavirus and cited the removal of a post by Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro as an example.

Facebook removed a claim by Jair Bolsonaro that scientists had "shown" that there was a cure for the coronavirus.

"This is obviously not true, and that is why we removed it. It doesn't matter who says it," Zuckerberg said in an interview with British public radio station BBC.

Facebook will remove all content from the platform that causes "immediate damage" to any user, Zuckerberg . . .
