Jair Bolsonaro: “Time for a new cry of independence in Brazil”

"We cannot accept that some pseudo-governors want to impose a dictatorship among you, using the virus to subjugate you," said Bolsonaro, in reference to the Covid-19 pandemic.

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The president said, without going into details, that the time for the "end of the ordeal" would be coming, referring to the pandemic of the new coronavirus.

In the city of Feira de Santana, Bahia, Brazil, President Jair Bolsonaro said, on Monday morning April 26, that the time is coming "for a new cry of independence in Brazil".

He made a speech during the inauguration of 22 kilometers of duplication of the BR-101 highway between the Bahia municipalities of Feira de Santana and Esplanada.
