RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil has reached 5.66 million cumulative cases of infection by the novel coronavirus. Over the past 24 hours, 10,554 new confirmed Covid-19 cases were reported, totaling 5,664,115.
The data are included in the Ministry of Health's bulletin, released November 8th. The body consolidates daily data submitted by state Health Secretariats throughout Brazil. However, due to the the collapse of internal systems over the past week, the balance reported on Sunday did not include new patients under follow-up, thereby maintaining the data released in the November 4th report, totaling 364 . . .
