RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - The lack of control of the Covid-19 pandemic in Brazil leaves the tragic balance of 5,094 new deaths notified to the National Council of Health Secretaries, the CONASS, this weekend, adding the occurrences from Saturday (March 27) and Sunday.
There were 3,438 deaths on Saturday - the third day in which the mark of 3,000 deaths was surpassed since the beginning of the new coronavirus pandemic in March of last year, all within this week.
On the most lethal Sunday in the country's history, Brazil recorded 1,656 more victims. A month . . .
