RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL - Brazil has reached the mark of 110,000 deaths from the novel coronavirus pandemic. With 1,212 new records in the past 24 hours, the total reached 111,100. The data were released yesterday in an update by the Ministry of Health. On Tuesday, the body's panel had recorded 109,888 fatalities as a result of the disease. There are a further 3,173 deaths under investigation.
The Ministry of Health's report also counted 3,456,652 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic. Between Tuesday and Wednesday, 49,298 new coronavirus infections . . .
